Who’s that girl, oh wait Facebook will tell you!  Just upload any photo, and Facebook automatically scours its network comparing faces in your photo with faces throughout its network, attempting to identify those people in your photo so you can “tag” them.

Alright, its not as bad as all that yet, but it could be.  Facebook automatically enabled facial recognition software in your privacy settings to scour your friends photos, and those close to you in your groups in order to try and help tag them, but imagine in 10 years.  If Facebook put the Missing Persons database into their system, and then scanned the millions and millions of crowd photos.  Imagine who they might find in a crowd!

If you don’t want Facebook scouring your profile to match you to other photos, be sure and dig deep into your privacy settings, and get them turned off!
